Mark attended The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina and has been in the construction industry since 1979. Mark's business philosophies are best displayed by his focus on strategic analysis of the methods and means of the construction process. He has excelled in creating long-term relationships by consistently working to building winning teams within our industry. Mark's "can do" approach, coupled with high standards in product quality and work integrity, serves to facilitate a project objective to the best possible result.

Mark's professional affiliations include serving as Past President of the Columbia Contractors Association (2001-02). He is an active Member of the Carolinas AGC, serving on the Mechanical Contractors Joint Cooperative Committee from 1995 through 1997, a 2005-06 Director-at-Large Board Member and immediate Past Chairman of the Building Services Division. Mark also served as Chairman for the Carolinas AGC/AIA Joint Committee, the President's Advisory Board for Kirby Building Systems, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Board of Directors. Mark is a member of Shandon Baptist Church, where he currently serves as Deacon, Sunday School Dept. Director, and Personnel & Building Committee member.







Pete's formal education began with the study of Engineering at the University of South Carolina. He became the first Honor Graduate of Midlands Technical College, with an Associate of Science degree in Civil Technology. Pete is well known in our community, with a broad background in the construction industry beginning in 1964. He specializes in pre-construction services, as well as building strong relationships between subs, suppliers and architects. Pete also has extensive experience in project management, cost analysis, value engineering, and constructability analysis.

Pete has served on the board of the Carolinas Association of General Contractors, the Joint Cooperative Committee of AIA-AGC, the South Carolina State Construction Committee, Midlands Technical College Board of Directors, and as Chairman on the South Carolina Legislative Committee. He is also former President of the Columbia Contractors Association. Pete is a member & Sunday School teacher at Shandon Baptist Church.




Margaret is a native of upstate South Carolina, and has resided in the Columbia area for over 30 years. Her professional background consists of 20 years in corporate management and sales, including several years in facilities planning and operations. Margaret specializes in business relations, market analysis and strategic planning. She is a graduate of The Fashion Institute of Columbia Commercial College, where she studied interior design, fashion design and business. She continued her education at The University of South Carolina, studying Business Administration and Business Education.

Margaret's professional affiliations include memberships in The SC Economic Development Association, The Committee of 100, and the Leadership Columbia Alumnae Association. Margaret formerly served on The Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Board of Directors for the Palmetto Health Children's Hospital, and she is a founding member of the Greater Columbia Commercial Building Council. She and her family are members of Riverland Hills Baptist Church.




Richard brings over 30 years experience in estimating, scheduling, constructibility studies, value engineering and project management. As a 1973 Midlands Technical College graduate in Civil Engineering, Richard has estimated, managed and scheduled over $900 million in total construction volume. Some of his more notable projects include Hoke County Schools ($21.5 million); Robeson County Schools ($24 million); Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College; and Tri-County Technical College.




Vince earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1977 from The Citadel, in Charleston, SC, and has over 25 years experience in the engineering and construction arenas. Throughout his career, Vince has maintained active service with the S.C. Air National Guard, presently assigned as a Director of Operations for the South Carolina Air National Guard Headquarters and holds the rank of Colonel, and has received over a dozen awards and decorations for outstanding service. In addition, Vince was previously employed as a commercial airline pilot for 17 years. He and his family are active members of Shandon Baptist Church.




John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. He has over seventeen years experience with a strong background in business management, project supervision, engineering and quality assurance. John previously owned and operated a construction services company where he managed metal roofing and sheet metal contracting for commercial and industrial projects. He is also a graduate of the AGC Project Manager's School. John and his family are members of First Presbyterian Church.
