Hood Construction Welcomes New HR Coordinator
Hood Construction is proud to announce that Virginia Johnson has joined the team in the role of Human Resources Coordinator. Virginia brings to Hood over 13 years of experience of leadership and team development in the healthcare field. She will be working in tandem with Janet Bearden, Hood Construction’s Vice President of Finance, on the implementation of several new employee initiatives and the ongoing improvement of existing policies and procedures.
“I am excited to have Virginia on our team,” said Janet. “Her abilities in the areas of organization, the implementation of policies, and streamlining processes has already proved invaluable for our firm. She’ll be able to take our company and our 85+ employees even further with her expertise.”
Virginia holds a B.A. in International Studies and a M.A. in Human Services. Prior to joining Hood Construction, she worked at a firm in the healthcare industry where she facilitated hospital discharges for patients statewide, collaborated on software development, and guided employee training.
