Project Summary

Hood Construction was selected to serve as a Design-Assist partner for the construction of this new 15,500 SF retail beverage store, the first of it’s brand in the Columbia market. The building scope consists of slab on grade, with load bearing masonry, and steel columns. The store interior includes an extensive walk-in beer cooler, a fine wine section with tasting station, a humidor for their cigar selection, as well as a growler station (also with a tasting bar). A loading dock and storage rooms are located in the rear of the building.

The team worked closely with various retail interiors consultants to successfully incorporate numerous specialized finish enhancements, such as curved ceiling adornments, custom woodwork on growler and tasting stations, and specialty lighting.
