Alex Shuler

Project Manager

With a background in the US Army, Alex brings an outstanding skill set to Hood Construction in his role as Assistant Project Manager. As an Infantry Officer, Alex served as both an Infantry Platoon leader and Mortar Platoon Leader with the 1st Cavalry Division, at Ft. Hood, TX. He also is a graduate of Officer Candidate School, Infantry Basic Officer Leaders Course, Ranger School, and Airborne School. Alex has implemented many of the invaluable skills learned over the course of his military career in his role here at Hood Construction. He is an organized and project-focused leader who supports the Project Management and Executive staff in the on-time and on-budget completion of an array of construction projects.

Alex also holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Clemson University as well as a Masters in Construction Management from Louisiana State University. Outside of his educational and work-related engagements, Alex enjoys reading and spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He, his wife, and their daughter are members of Mill City Church of Cayce.
